KENYA...A JOY FOREVER

EXPERIMENTING THE WILD PRODUCES A RUSH OF ADRENALINE, AN EXCITEMENT DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS AND SOON WE WERE CAPTURED BY THE RYTHM AND ESSENCE OF AFRICA...POLE POLE (SLOWLY in Swahili) AND HAKUNA MATATA (NO PROBLEM in Swahili), WERE SOON ADOPTED BY US.

LIFE IN THE SAVANNAH IS HARMONIOUS AND FULL OF SPONTANEOUS BEAUTY EVEN IN A KILL...ALL THE MUSCLES TENSE PREPARED FOR THE SPRINT.  AS ANIMALS ARE NOT ATTACKED BY HUMANS, THEY ARE NOT FEARFUL AND WE CAN GET VERY CLOSE TO OBSERVE THEM IN AWE, EVEN MAKING EYE CONTACT.

-NAKURU, LAND OF THE RHINOS, BLACK AND WHITE (the white is not white, but black like the black...its name coming from wide mouth, that somehow was transformed to white).
LAND OF THE PINK AND WHITE FLAMINGOES AND WHITE PELICANS
-AMBOSELI, meaning LAND OF THE DUST STORMS in Swahili
LAND OF THE ELEPHANTS...FOLLOWING THEIR TRAIL TO THE WATER HOLES FOR BATHING AND EATING GRASS IN THE MORNINGS AND IN THE EVENING BACK TO THE BUSHES OR HILLS THAT WILL PROTECT THEM FROM THE COLD OF THE SAVANNAH NIGHT

MASAI MARA...meaning SPOTTED LAND in Swahili.  ABOUT 500 YEARS AGO THE MASAI BURNT LARGE AREAS OF THEIR LAND FOR GRAZING AND FOR BEING ABLE TO SEE AFAR AND AVOID ATTACKS OF WILD ANIMALS.  THUS, THE SAVANNAH PREDOMINANTLY IS FORMED BY LOW BUSH SPRINKLED BY TREES.  MARA, LAND OF LIONS
